Ducks Unlimited has been established for more than 80 years, consistently committing to their mission of waterfowl habitat conservation. This mission has driven them to work across the continent to restore and protect the habitats that make the abundance of wildlife possible.

Ducks Unlimited aims to improve the overall health of the country’s habitats by recharging and purifying groundwater, moderating floods and reducing soil erosion. Ducks Unlimited aims their focus on Wetlands because they are America’s most diverse and productive ecosystems that provide habitats to more than 900 species of wildlife. Aside from benefiting animals, protecting and refreshing wetlands provide communities with clean and safe drinking water.
Due to decades of working towards their mission, Ducks Unlimited today is the world’s largest and most effective private waterfowl and wetlands conservation organization. They did not do this alone, however. Ducks Unlimited partners up with other organizations, private individuals, landowners, agencies and scientific communities. Joined with these partners, Ducks Unlimited has conserved more than 14.5 million acres of habitat across North America.
