Seeking Euphoria in Aotearoa – Run Amok – A Run & Active Collection from Roark
Roark has announced the release of its season 3 Run Amok Collection, inspired by the Isle of Aotearoa, with the rolling hills and towering peaks as Roark’s guide, technical features deliver the highest performance, regardless of the circumstances. Infused with graphic hits inspired by Roark’s journey, this season provides a collection suited to an individualist style.
The newly released Bless Up Trail Button Up ($89) is redefining what a running shirt can look like, with next-level trail-to-bar credentials. Built with 4-way stretch, microperforated, nylon Tactel/poly blend and rubber buttons, it is one of the most versatile garments in the Run Amok collection.
Run and active performance continues with Roark’s best collection of Run Amok bottoms, yet. First, introducing the newest version of the Alta 5”, the ultra breathable Alta Light 5” ($89). The Alta Light is updated to have a 4-way stretch with micro-perforation on the front body and through the back yoke to enhance airflow to keep runners cool. The seat of the short features a lightweight and durable nylon 4-way stretch with water-resistant finish to endure abrasions.
These updates combine with functional features like the moisture-wicking antimicrobial brief liner, the extended-slit notched hem, the flat jacquard elastic single-ply waistband with internal drawstring and the back zip cell pocket with waterproof lining, t-shirt loop and back side pockets for on the go fuel, creating a trail run short that can navigate the hills and valleys of New Zealand and onward to the next adventure.
Next up, Roark’s ready for a Mind Vacation with its newest Mathis Vacay DriReleaseⓇ tee ($59) in red clay. The moisture wicking tee coordinates with the Alta Light 5”, a 5-panel run hat, and the newest iteration of the Secondwind 2.0 lightweight jacket ($125).
The ultra-lightweight and packable SecondWind 2.0 was crucial to navigating the variable weather in the land of the long white cloud, with a fit shaped to perform on the trail and ultra-lightweight stretch ripstop fabric with durable water resistant finish. Graphical elements are reflective for logging those after work miles. The partially elasticated hood edge, cuff opening and back hem give it a secure closure to a relaxed structure so the jacket lays naturally and doesn’t bunch.
Rounding out the collection, the compression-lined cross train Bommer 3.5” is back in new colorways and graphics, as is the versatile activewear Serrano short, El Morro Hoodie, and Fleece pants, as well as caps and socks.
The Run Amok collection is available now at select retailers, and here. Check out the IG handle for local runs, new releases, and epic events here.
