Tesla Model 3 Highland unveiled with new design and features
Only hours after pictures of the Tesla Model 3 “Project Highland” refresh emerged online, Tesla has officially launched the updated version of their popular all-electric sedan in Europe. The new Model 3 Highland is available outside the US, yet to be released stateside. They held a special presentation for the updated car in Norway – an unprecedented move from Tesla, who usually launch vehicles exclusively in the US. This facelift is significant for Tesla, since it was the flagship vehicle which made them into a well-known brand, and also set off the development of the world’s most successful vehicle today: the Model Y crossover.
Tesla’s refresh of the Model 3 includes a revamped exterior, interior upgrades like additional screens (including a rear one), and more mileage on a single charge. They claim that the new model involves replacing more than fifty percent of its parts, though we’re unclear as to just how they arrived at this ratio. The most eye-catching difference would be the front end of the vehicle, which now looks smoother than before due to the removal of that bump in the hood of current iterations.
