Stio was founded in northwestern Wyoming by a group of outdoor enthusiasts. Inspired by the vast and beautiful nature surrounding their community, the founders of Stio channeled that inspiration into functional products that are infused with the mountain soul. Jackson Hole offers its residents with amazing outdoor adventures from days on the river to nights camping in the mountains, or skiing some of the most amazing runs you can imagine.
Stio channels this inspiration into innovation. Their outdoor apparel is designed with impeccable technicality that holds up with great quality and versatility. In every piece of apparel Stio makes, you will be able to tell that it was built with passion. Similar to the other best companies in this industry, Stio is concerned with the environmental impact that their clothing and outdoor activities in general have on the mountains and landscapes that we love so much. Because of that, Stio has a long-standing dedication to loving and protecting the resources that allow us to enjoy mountain life. Part of this dedication involves using Bluesign® approved textiles wherever possible, making sure their supply chain is the least impactful as possible, and operating their workplaces responsibly.
The first round of early fall arrivals are now available at Stio.com. New colors, organic fabrics and recycled materials are the focus as Stio continues to strive towards better practices for greater global good. What do you say? Shall we explore Stio’s early fall collection?

With Stio’s use of organic cotton in their Saratoga Cord Shirt and Rivet Canvas Pant, they are able to use significantly less water and energy and protect habitat biodiversity. In Stio’s Sweetwater Collection, they use recycled polyester to decrease their use of petroleum and raw materials. Stio hopes you join them in their journey to being good stewards of the mountain life.

Jorge Moreno: Bridging The Gap To Outdoor Experience
The satisfaction of immersing yourself in the mountains, filtering your water in a small stream and sleeping in the backcountry are all experiences that deepen our connection to the outdoors. This is what Jorge Moreno, who works at PGM ONE and is based in Lander, Wyoming, experienced last fall. Right as fall was turning to winter – Jorge made plans to reconnect his friend, Andy Cochrane on a three-day backpacking trip in the Beartooth Range of southern Montana. Now, as an ambassador for Latino Outdoors, Jorge is focused on helping bridge the gap between outdoor spaces and people who don’t feel comfortable outside. Visit Stio’s blog to read Jorge’s full story by writer, photographer and filmmaker Andy Cochrane.

Ashton Chambray Shirt
Stio’s hometown of Jackson Hole was founded on the ethic of rugged work outside. Stio has borrowed from that lineage with their 100% organic cotton chambray shirt, which blends the toughness inherent in the timeless woven material with a skin-side softness that stays comfortable enough for long leisurely days. Pearl snaps, pinecone buttons and classic Western detailing provides that high range identity to a piece that easily spans from work to rest to play. Adjustable placketed cuffs allow for an easy roll and a shirttail hem looks good tucked in or left out.

Men’s West Butte Insulated Jacket
Stio’s West Butte hits a hardworking stride of reliable, quilted warmth and retro surplus style. It’s build for those days that are more about work than play. Yes, its hard to imagine that his can occur in a beautiful mountain town, but not every day involves an epic climb or type-two adventure. The burly 70-denier nylon outer looks natural but wears tough, while PeakFill™ 50% recycled, synthetic insulation traps plenty of heat to stay warm while ticking off chores or when getting way off the grid.
