Introducing the Cloud Cap™ by Super Pacific, the latest offering from a top producer of high-quality, lightweight truck campers and add-ons. This innovative product is a tough and compact pop-top tent and versatile gear mounting platform, designed to flawlessly incorporate into any adventure van construction without sacrificing functionality.
Super Pacific’s new addition to the van industry, the Cloud Cap, utilizes the same design principles as their successful X1 Camper. Made from top-grade aerospace materials and put through rigorous testing in the challenging climate of the Pacific Northwest, this 4-season canopy camper is built to withstand extreme conditions. The Cloud Cap seamlessly integrates with any van build, featuring a pass-through portal and internal controls that connect the van’s interior with a roomy rooftop loft, providing panoramic views in every direction.
Super Pacific Cloud Cap
The Cloud Cap, designed to withstand all four seasons, is made using durable materials such as marine-grade polyester fabric, polypropylene composite panels, and specialized aluminum components. With three storm doors that can be opened and No-See-Um screens for unobstructed views, this tent allows you to enjoy the outdoors in comfort. The unique Flow State TM vents also help reduce condensation. Its low-profile clamshell design includes a roof panel that is sturdy enough to walk on, along with universal T-slots for easy integration of accessories like solar panels, awnings, and cross bars. Inside the tent, there is plenty of room to sleep two adults comfortably on EXPED’s MegaMat Duo LW+ mattress. Optional upgrades include a Gear LoftTM for overhead storage and a Therma Puff TM insulated liner for colder weather conditions.
“We learned from van builders that their customers faced a difficult choice: Add a fiberglass pop-top to gain valuable sleeping space or add a roof rack to mount useful adventure accessories, but not both. We created the Cloud Cap™ to eliminate that compromise, and we think it’s a big win for van owners,” said Super Pacific Founder and President, Peter Williams.

The Cloud Cap is designed to be compatible with a variety of van models. It is currently available for the Mercedes Sprinter and Ford Transit, with plans to expand to Ford E-Series and Ram ProMaster models in the near future. Super Pacific collaborated with van builders to create a unique mounting kit, simplifying and speeding up the installation process.
The Cloud Cap is exclusively sold and installed by certified van builders within Super Pacific’s network, with a price of $12,200. As with all products from Super Pacific, the Cloud CapTM is carefully crafted in the USA using top-quality materials.
