Claire Barber

Claire Barber is a freelance journalist and environmental advocate based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She's fallen off of mountains, made friends with donkeys in the Arizona desert, and cooked hot dogs in a cave (not smart – coyotes). The American Southwest has especially struck a chord in Claire's heart, and she is grateful for the long chats she's been able to have with changemakers, cross-county rollerbladers, wildlife biologists, and more. If she’s not skiing, out on the trail, or writing, you’ll probably find her cooking stir-fry on her sketchy camp stove.
